Question Gulf Air to restart CMB?

Heard from someone in GF that they are thinking of starting up CMB again in April 2006.

Can anyone add any truth to this? Apparently the excess baggage collection for outstations has dropped dramatically since they dropped this route!

Would be good to see Gulf Air fly back to Colombo, as long as they don't use those rubbish Gulf Traveller aircraft. They are like flying toilets.

I still use the LHR-AUH leg on Gulf Air - their business cabin [upgrades to first] is great, though have to switch back to Sri Lankan Airlines AUH-CMB.
