Cool EGCC Freight Expansion?

Saw an article in last night's Manchester Evening News - which the kind 'little old lady' seems to have disposed of - that indicated that Management were looking at moving the freight terminal to a new site to the North of the R2.

Any ideas or comments from our numerous sources of infinate wisdom?

At least it would open up the possibility for development around the stands 64-80 area and the current freight terminal could be turned into a 'low-cost terminal'...oh the mind boggles!

Exclamation

<< the current freight terminal could be turned into a 'low-cost terminal >>

Many a true word spoken in jest, eh ??

There are still talks going on at the highest level with EVA about putting in an MD-11 3 times a week, and Korean have again been sniffing around with a view to setting up a cargo base.
