Mark,

I quite agree with your constructive criticisms of BRS. As you remark though, some of these are being addressed by the BRS management.

The new control tower is due for completion in July, but I believe the in service date is Autumn 01, as a change in mid summer would be chaotic to say the least.

The crew bus is on order, but I have little optimism that a single crew bus will be a perfect solution.

Mag, my old sparring partner. Yes, let's agree to differ. Perhaps it's the scrumpy that makes us so mellow down here, but this is certainly one of the most pleasant bases in my company, whether it's overcrowded or not.

Bye for now,
Norm.

I think the groundstaff are unusually cheerful and competent.

What is wrong with FILTON ?

Closer to city , long runway, better wx than Lulsgate, 2 motorways within a mile, railway line, approach over industrial area one way, other way over new houseowners who knew they were on approach to an airport.
