Arrow Bit close?

Heard a DL 727 made a VERY late rotation at SLC a couple of days back, not airborne until off the end of the rwy. Any of you USA guys heard more?

Rwy 34R has some consruction at the far end. Still has around 8000 ft though. That was one long takeoff run! Preliminary investigation indicates the probability that jet blast is responsible for knocking over the barriers and lights. That was still pretty low.
