Post Ryanair to be investigated?

Just caught a glimpse on teletext of a report that the EC is investigating Ryanair for the way they applied for a Brussels route. Lets hope that when Ryanair file their response the EC charge them £500,000 to read it. If Ryanair's boss complains the EC can then point out that none of the other airlines have complained and that if they are really want the route they wouldn't mind paying. They could then throw in the odd comment about market forces and how the EC has more defences filed than they need anyway!
