Twotter down in Indonesia

Jakarta - A Twin Otter airplane, carrying 14 passengers including a baby, crashed in Indonesia's easternmost province of Papua on Tuesday, but the fate of those on-board was not immediately known, news reports said.

The plane, belonging to the GT Air private airliner company, reportedly crashed at about 11am local time during a flight from Timika, about 3 735km northeast of Jakarta, to Enarotali airport of Paniai district, about 180km away, according Indonesia's state-run news agency, Antara.

There were no further details about the crash of the fixed-wing aircraft, and the company's office and officials in both Papua's capital of Jayapura and Enarotali could not be reached for comment.
