From BBC ceefax:

"A security company employing screeners and baggage handlers at Miami Airport has said it falsley claimed to check staff backgrounds and criminal records.. .In an agreement presented to the US district court in Miami, New York based Garrison Protective Services of Florida pleaded guilty to the charge.. .The US Attorney in Miami said 104 were hired in 1997/1998 without checks.. .Miami security came into question in 1999, when 58 staff were found smuggling."
