Unauthorised Flight
Any know anything about the suspension of departures to north from EGLL this afternoon?
I believe it had something to do with an unauthorised flight or something.
The controller said something about all departures being suspended.
Any controller types shed any light.
Make it up if you have to, but make it interesting.

Sounds like there was a "wildy" in the London Control Zone.. unidentified traffic reasonably close to Heathrow will stop departures in that direction until it is resolved. It's far from uncommon - the London Zone has several light aircraft airfileds either within or close to it and sometimes the pilots of a/c operating from those airfields get a bit lost..
