I guess that they are protesting against the recent changes in their working conditions introduced by the government.

AFAIK, the government cancelled a recent pay deal and prohibited any form of union in the company.

the only bands i have seen are the white ones that Sabena crew wear. must represent "BandAids" or "plasters" as the UK'ers call them. trying to stop their bleeding of money out onto the ground like there's no tomorrow.

PIA pilots are protesting against the new Cockpit Crew Service Rules imposed, which is against the working order signed between the management and PALPA.
As a mark of silent protest against such disregard to FLIGHT SAFETY, all pilots are to wear BLACK band.
