Captain Chas Finn-Kelcey, MBE - Funeral Details

“On Thursday 1/4/04 in St Thomas's Hospital

CHARLES JOHN FINN-KELCEY MBE

Aged 52 years. The dearly loved son of the late Jack Finn-Kelcey and Tove Finn-Kelcey, adored husband of Diane, devoted father of Nina & Mark. Also much loved brother of Liz, brother in law of Sue and David and treasured uncle of Oliver, James, Alex & Kathy.

Funeral service to be held at Cranbrook Church at 12:00 Monday 19th April, followed by family cremation. No flowers but donations if desired to St Catherine’s Hospice, St Dunstan’s for the Blind & Swanage Railway Trust c/o K B Sills, Funeral Director, Kenwood, High Street, Cranbrook, Kent.”

The family request that uniforms are worn, if you wish, and that for Masonic guests dark suit or morning suit with any appropriate tie. For the Masonic Guests No regalia is to be worn. For others guests the family wish to see plenty of colour. There will be a reception after the family return from the crematorium at the Tudor Park Hotel, Bearsted, Maidstone to which you are invited. This will start at about 14:30 and it would be useful to know in advance approximate numbers of those attending.

This will be a celebration of Chas’s life and the day is to be as uplifting as possible. Chas would have had it no other way.

Please contact Stratton Richey as the point of contact for the day, who can be contacted on 01233 756366. or Don on 0208 770 9334.
