How long left for EAL's 1-11's
On Saturday i saw one of European Aviation's 1-11's sitting at LGW painted in the new F1 colours. Is it worth repainting? How long can the keep these in the air considering the airframes age European noise regs etc.

Thanks Sky Angel thats a really inspired post I would've never thought that in 40 years time EAL will still be flying their 70 - 80 year old aircraft !
Flug! What then? Surely the 732's will be to noisy as well.

Hi, just to let you all know that last Saturday at Cork there was one of European's 1-11-500s still going mighty strong bringing out a load of Munster rugby supporters to a game in Lille and a fab sight she was too as she roared down Cork's runway 17 for take-off and left hand turn out for Strumble. Oh, the memories, the memories.
