Being New Years Day not much chaos was caused. Eventually on re-opening a/c were given landing slots and therefore takeoff slots accordingly so delays in the air kept to a minimum. Funny how after the call deeming the airport closed we then get flight details on the AFR from De Gaulle to LHR? How they get airbourne then???????????
