In Flight Entertainment

Just wondering, what is the norm for switching off the in flight entertainment when landing.

On a recent flight the film was shown and the lights were left on all through the landing and right up to the gates. I always thought everything had to be off and all the blinds open for the landing.

Bit of a saddo question i know but i am just curious.....
