Post AE, Volare, Swissair, what's happening?

Trackone accused me of shutting the previous AE thread down when I had nothing to do with it dissappering off pprune.

I think there are a few ppruners out there curious to find out if Swissair have sold their stake in AE-Volare.

Are things a bit more stable?

Cool

Be careful Obi One, Freddie might see this and have a fit.
He doesn't want us posting any more in public anything that has anything to due with AE and Volare.
The post you may be referring to was moved over to Crew Notices.

Angry

Am reliably informed that the original"Italian market"thread that recently vanished was not removed by anyone at PPrune HQ. Am told that the originator of a thread(first poster) in editing that first post, could accidently delete it.
A great pity for it was telling the truth, the whole truth & nothing but the truth regarding this whole Volare group shambles.
Things are not getting better & the loss of moral within Air Europe is reaching dangerous levels which, I hope to god, will not affect peoples professional ability.

Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh TJ13,
I am so sorry, obviously you are not a Volare Group pilot, I think you are not even a pilot and you want to know all the rumours about us.
For me no problem, but go to "Airline Specific Privat Forums", what do you see, yes you're right forums for each airline and for Volare we have the same just not on this site. There are things to be discussed without the public like in every airline, for the rest you can do what you want.
Pro or conta Volare you are so unimportant, I don't care.

Cheers

Obi Wan Kirk,

"is like"? Well, it is just starting up, first A/C will arrive in Feb, from March operating more or less a standard charter profile. As Alpitour guarantees certain volumes and German Preussag (largest travel group worldwide)also is involved it is pretty solid.

Returning to the topic,
as it seems the Volare Group is not doing to bad (but who really knows). The plan is to by the 49% from Swissair, but I don't know if they already did. Usualy they don't tell us, like they bought the spainish LTE in august and there is still no official statment about this(as far as I know).
Air Europe will disapear next year, the company wants one contract for all pilots and everything will be operated by Volare.
To be honest we don't really know how the future will be, but I think I will not be able to pay for more than one pizza per day.

Freddie: It must just be killing you to know who I am.
I am not here to please you either.
Yes, every airline has its own forum, but I have never seen other people from other companies hound others so much as you have.
BTW, I saw your disappearing message and that is why you got my previous reply.

Hey TJ13,

Quit wasting our time with your LAME comments. Why egg-on Freddie? I don't know who either of you are - and I don't care... How does that contribute to this forum?

You probably aren't a pilot, and if you are, you are not very professional. So, shut your trap or contribute something worthwhile....

Questions for the group: Where have former Gandalf pilots ended up lately? Have any Volare pilots transitioned to the Air Europe 767s/777s from the Airbuses - what's their opinion of their new aircraft vis-a-vis the A320?

Cheers

Lavdumper: Well, we see you are so professional also, trying to tell someone to shut their trap, professional indeed.
As for egging Freddie on, he knows what I was talking about so but out. I haven't been the one to coward out and delete my replies once they have been made.

As for any of the 320 Volare guys, one captain that I know of did go to the 767 but not AE as he is still Volare.
Also, no big deal to him as he was a 767 pilot before he was a 320 pilot.

Last try.

The reason why I told everybody to write in the Volare Group Forum was that it was almost unknown by most AEI pilots, so we made a second try to get the people into the forum and to speak together.
I don't care who you are.
I am not able to to delete any messages in this forum, but many thanks that you think I am able to.

As far as I know there were ex Gandalf pilots in training but I don't really know.
The same for the transition to B767, I heard of about 4-5, all (most) of them were flying 767 before.

Hi Freddie,
Regarding your advice to post on the private Volare Group forum, two points.
1/ The comportment of certain characters within Volare,(& Air Europe come to think of it)deserves to be publicised to the wider audience, so that they may be judged in their next life.
2/ I believe that the number of people within Air Europe who trust an open Volare forum without fear of victimisation could be counted on one finger(guess which one!).
Sorry but that is the way it is.
By the way, could anyone shed some light on a pilot who was flying an aircraft when he perhaps should have not, & subsequently was investigated by Civilavia in Rome?
Seems like a grave loss of integrity to me!
(If it is true of course)

Exclamation

All the VLE ex A320 pilots are now retrained on B767 but can't fly AEI planes until the dispute is resolved(or they get their own B767s in VLE).The ex-Gandalf pilot(s) are still in training,as they are VLE pilots now,the same would apply to them,or not?
