Sounds like the same kind of "mutal consent" that has seen the MD and Chief Pilot leave the company. Wonder if they held the door open...............

I used to work for Airtours/My Travel a few years back. Just out of interest, who were the last MD and Chief pilot?

Cool

So it appears that in addition to terrorism, slumping economy, competition from other carriers, the extra sunshine in Britain is now adding to the list of woes the charter industry is suffering from. Oh well lets hope things get better with a bit of lousy weather.

The Last MD was Dave Betts, the new one is Frank Pullman. I can't for the life of me remember the Chief pilots name though, sorry.

It's not the only thing you cannot remember Stand 22. The last chief pilot left quite some time ago when he reached retirement age, not "by mutual consent." OK?

You know you're right. Remembered the name and it was the Boeing Fleet Manager whom recently left in similar circumstances

Wrong again Stand. The circumstances were not even remotely similar.
He, left over a year ago to take up a chief pilot position with DHL.

Want to have another go? (You don't happen to have any connection with the Daily Mail do you?)

the last CP was 'removed'. He used to be AIRBUS fleet manager. Perhaps that's where the confusion is. Last I heard the current Boeing FM was on a sabattical due ill health. His predecessor left of his own free will to go to DHL. As for non-flying management..well they change as often as traffic lights these days
