Nick Lappos?

I see that Nick is no longer registered with PPrune. Admin error, or have you left us, Nick?

I also notice that Roger Bacon has quoted Nick in this week's Straight & Level, Flight International, from a Rotorhead posting,
"Tiltrotors are extremely complex, (snip) . They are as if a Chinook and an F-14 had a baby". ;)

PPRUNE FAN#1 11th April 2003 10:52

I heard a rumour that Sir Nicholas of Lappos now posts exclusively on the www.justhelicopters forum and very occasionally someplace called rec.aviation.helicopters which I believe is populated by r/c modelers or something. Our loss.

Steve76 11th April 2003 12:49

What's with that???

skidbiter 11th April 2003 13:36

Steve76, do you really blame him, just look at some of your bull$hit posts

Heliport 11th April 2003 15:55

I don't know, or care, what your problem is with Steve76 - but I do care about you following him around this forum making childish provocative comments on different threads.

Steve76 is a valued contributor to this forum - you're not.
Try JustHelicopters - you'll feel at home there.

Nick tells me he's been trying to post, but there seems to be a gremlin in the software preventing him from logging in.

I don't think there's any danger of Nick defecting to JustHelicopters - he wouldn't feel at home in that jungle!

Just when you thought it was safe to go into a Hover....

I'm back. For a week I was in a cyber fog, the server would not recognize me, and I could not reregister. Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of computers....

I seem to be healthy now, with my username now NickLappos

Keep the jabs coming!

Welcome back NickLappos
(formerly Nick Lappos)

A couple of weeks ago, I assumed that the problem was one of making provocative postings. :ouch:

Perhaps the problem is one of using real names. :D :D

Nick's problem was simply a software glitch.
Have you been making provocative posts on other forums then Dave? ;)

SASless 12th April 2003 06:15

Nick,

Remember....computers sense fear!

John Eacott 12th April 2003 11:39

Nicklappos,

Notice they nicked all your frequent flyer points as well ;)

Always read S & L in Flight, nice to see the header they gave your quote :D

"Have you been making provocative posts on other forums?"
Only kinky sheep jokes on the 'New Zealand' forum. :uhoh:

No. no. It must have something to do with the use of real names. Even Lu Zuckerman will agree with this. ;)

Thomas coupling 12th April 2003 16:10

Glad you're back NL.

Thumper2 12th April 2003 20:17

Just wanted to say "Thanks" for the seminar here in YYT last night. Can not wait to try that thing out!

rotormatic 13th April 2003 13:58

Hey Nick....

Did the GE folks ever say how they deal with RHL on the Firehawk?
