I must be getting old; can somebody please find the FAA TCDS for 412 EPX? I checked everything, all in vain.

https://drs.faa.gov/browse/excelExte...dalOpened=true
- this is the PDF that comes up using "412EPX" in the "Keyword" field. This is the search page I used: https://drs.faa.gov/browse/TCDSMODEL...Keyword=412EPX |
Thank you! Got it!

So, was this version added on EASA type certificate or not? Anyone?
|
Nope, and even the EPI is theory only.
|
I just find it odd pimping up such an old model helicopter with the latest gadgets like that. The cockpit looks a bit like what's in the 429, right?

The US Forestry Service loves it.
While it's not in demand as a HEMS machine and definitely not in the VIP world.... and even less now than ever for O&G.... when you don't need to carry many passengers, the EPX has great hot/high capability and is a proven, reliable workhorse. The AW139 and Airbus products can't say the same thing. And yes, the displays on the EPI/EPX are the exact same displays on the 429. |
Hi
Any news about Bell 412 EPX? FAA & EASA certified? |

...a 9 passenger aircraft (limited by emergency exit requirements) ...5 minute take-off power, I thought they wanted to go 30 minutes? |

H145, AW169, AW139… it’s not a problem… for other than legacy. Try intense HHO. 5 minutes might fall short sometimes.
