Boring licensing question...
Hi fellow aviators,
This may be an easy question for someone: I need a temporary EASA pilots licence to test drive a couple of Bell 212's for a mate. I hold the ATPL for FAA, CASA, TC and a couple of other dodgy 3rd world countries. I looked at the EASA website and decided life was too short to spend the rest of my day searching in there. Can anyone answer my question? Promise Gin as payment @ HAI next time :) |
Try via FCL 2.230

It's still JAA so JAR-FCL 2 is the rules.
However, you would have to go through a particular country's aviation authority. If you go through the UK (language might be easier), best call them on +441293573700 and go for the flight crew licencing option. Cheers Whirls |
Depends on the country, as in a number of countries in Europe, you will have PPL privileges. And you could do your test runs on that basis.

JAA/EASA
Are EASA licenses already issued??? As far as I know, the system is still based on JARs. However, as per the national aviation authority, EASA will be implemented next year - at least so they say.
