(The Prince of Wales presenting OP Herrick medals to 9 Regiment, Army Air Corps, veterans from Afghanistan.)

detgnome 12th July 2007 20:22

I guess it's something to do with the pressure of high office and dealing with weighty issues (possibly more than one).

Why is the chap on the right asleep?

'She asked for some good news, so he gave her some' - must be the reason she has a smile on her face!

detgnome 12th July 2007 20:25

Just noticed that despite the additional weight of the medal on the left breasticle, the right breasticle is subject to more static droop.

md 600 driver 12th July 2007 20:27

no the left one has more droop !! from his point of view and mine

its only her right one [must finish that bottle of wine ]

Gaseous 12th July 2007 20:53

"It's admirable to work out, lad, but my advice is to ease up on the bench presses and concentrate more on your arm work. Oh, and get a hair cut!"

Runaway Gun 13th July 2007 10:57

Does one's flying machine not come readily equipped with it's own airbags?

6Z3 13th July 2007 11:56

For propriety sakes....I skipped over the one about her being called "Strut Pump"!

Bronx 13th July 2007 13:24

'May I suggest you're just a little more subtle ........... Sir!'

(Look at his eyes. :) )

psyan 13th July 2007 14:40

6Z3 13th July 2007 14:54

The Prince demonstrates how to orally inflate Mae West before boarding (inflation tube airbrushed out)

Low Flier 13th July 2007 17:58

"If these things are contrarotating, m'dear, how do you keep them in sync?"

BOAC 13th July 2007 20:10

Shack37 13th July 2007 20:29

On pain of sounding sexist!;) I think he has eye contact........ but not with her eyes! :O

airborne_artist 14th July 2007 12:38

I think he's asking if her droop stops are due for their daily inspection.

airborne_artist 14th July 2007 12:40

Has anyone inspected your droop stops today?

Tappers Dad 14th July 2007 12:45

Just because I am Honorary Air Commodore doesn't mean I don't get like to get the hands on experience.

TheInquisitor 14th July 2007 12:59

Cracking picture!

Nice rack as well.....:}

chevvron 14th July 2007 13:00

Did he just pin that medal on her? Is that why she's smiling? Has Camilla seen the picture?

MadsDad 14th July 2007 14:44

Just one question. Why is the bloke at the left-hand end of the line (far right of the picture) sound asleep?

Did he think he had enough time for a kip before the Prince got to him?

L J R 14th July 2007 14:59

Sorry mate, never got that far in looking at the pic. I too was mesmerised at the wings and smile.
