Hello, it’s time for another try on the R44 Astro. It has a new charge battery and has bean in a Worm hangar all day. Going out in abbot 30 min. or so. It is -11C outside and clear blue sky.:\ :ok:

Yesss…To hour’s in a warm hangar is al the old Astro needed. It started on the first turn and it’s running great :ok: :ok:

Was it a 'new' battery or a recharged one. You could have had one of the duff batch (like I had)

Warm the engine up if you can via heated room. But if you had that you probably wouldn't need any of this advice.
Try a little starter fluid sprayed into the fresh air intake. Not much is needed.
If your mags/engine is Ok this will start it every time.
DO NOT USE TOO MUCH.

Yeah, take a five gallon jug of petrol and prime the whole engine bay and while you're at it, prime the upholstery too. Next, step back and try starting it with a lit road flare. That autta get her gpoing. You can then file ins. claim and get yourself a turbine. :}
