Please, Santa......

Been looking at the forum tonight and thought it was rather serious.

It's nearly Christmas, so if you wanted to put a particular helicopter on your letter to Santa, what would it be, and why? ;)

One of these - for the same reason as I drive an Italian car. But it would have to come complete with a nice pilot until I got the rating :E :ok:

I got one of those a couple of years ago 'cept made out of coke cans and shaped (pretty accurately) like a Huey!

Cheers

PS - TFS, I hope you realise that there's no such word as "funner" :D

Aser 22nd December 2006 00:01

Oh please Santa... PLEASE!!!

whatsarunway 22nd December 2006 00:02

I dissagree.

An S76 is Funner than a 109grand!

see. it works

Whirlygig 22nd December 2006 00:04

Not sure about that! Can we have some adjudication here please?

Anyway, the 109 Grand is prettier and I'm a girl so that's allowed!

Cheers

Whirls

But words like "funner" are not! :p

whatsarunway 22nd December 2006 00:06

Ok, well if its not funner its definatly betterer:cool:

wheatbix 22nd December 2006 03:28

An AS 350 B3 - its my dream helicopter haha. Its fast, cheap(er) to operate and has plenty of power: what more could a man want.

A grand and S76 are all sexy, but the operating costs of them :ugh: :yuk:

squirrel350 22nd December 2006 05:58

B430

Would have to say a Bell 430 or a 429 and if santa cant fit it in his sack I would take a AS350B3 or a Eurocopter EC 120/130/135/145 (model doesnt worry me).

HAHAHAHA or all of the above.

Sandy Toad 22nd December 2006 08:08

Not sure which heli is much more betterest but the pirots in Aser's post would surely help most pirots with their election..... :}

Certainly, I'll provide it..

Since you are biased on two fronts..

http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...2006barred.jpg Yer Barred

Whirlygig 22nd December 2006 08:30

Since you are biased on two fronts..
I hope that's not like the beast with two backs :E

Cheers

Yup .... probably barred!

Pandalet 22nd December 2006 10:00

Since we're on the gimme gimme gimme...

I'd like one Mi-26, along with type ratings for me and my 3 mates so we can fly it. I'd also like to win the lottery, so I can afford (just) to fly it home.

Happy Crimbles, you lot!:ok:

bladepitch 22nd December 2006 10:39

to be realistic.

i want a chopper thats starts with a Tick... Tick.... Tick...... :p

instead of a turn of the key. :{

and in my dreams, S-76. some of the pics of ones in britian doing corporate work are sweet!

Hilico 22nd December 2006 11:19

EC120 for Christmas. In fact, on the 9th December (one of the nicest days of the month so far) I did have one, for about 90 minutes, with the kids in the back with their cameras while flying over our house. Bloomin' brilliant!

toolguy 22nd December 2006 11:29

Santa - Please bring me....

MD500 - the fun-ner-est, for my fun side. :)
A Blackhawk for my wild side. :}
A S76A for my fancy side.

TeeS 22nd December 2006 12:11

Ah Aser

Now you see why you should never operate a helicopter with 2 female pilots!

A pair of broken fingernails and the aircraft is grounded for the day:) !

HOSS 1 22nd December 2006 14:10

better yet

Rather than Santa bringing ME a helo, I'm wishing he drops one off at my generous neighbor's. My neighbor is always letting me borrow various tools, etc, so I assume the same will apply with his new toy. Plus then, most importantly, I won't own the damn thing !
