No truck, flew it in there. The area is bigger than it looks in the photo but not by much! Didn't just fly in of course, had a good look around from ground level first.

That was a very long time ago, things have changed around here you know !:\

Floats with fins??
 

The 5ooE on fixed floats looks like an interesting helo. Are the vertical (diagonal) fins mounted on the rear of the floats to aid forward flight or when in the drink?

I assume that because there is no plate mounted on the bottom of the tail stinger that they are used to keep the TR out of the water in auto's, etc.
Anyone help?

Fascinating: it looks as if no two of the horizontal stabs have the same layout in those S-92 shots :confused:
