Lanzarote R22 Hire
Hello all, I am going to Lanzarote for a few days next week and wondered if anybody knows if you can get any self fly hire out there on R22s??
Any help would be greatly appreciated:ok: CM |
Can't help you with the chopper Mickey, but make sure you get yourself up to that cafe built into the mountain, the views are amazing !

.....or the nude beaches.....now we are talking some views sure enough!

cyclicmicky: I was born in Lanzarote and sadly there is no R22 on the island , but I think a company is offering sightseeing flights around the island in a AS350 http://www.helitourservice.com/
I'm sure you will enjoy the visit it's the best of Canary Islands Best regards. Aser http://www.helitourservice.com/helic...imanfaya-7.jpg |
Thanks for the replies folks, I will have a look for the restaurant.
:ok: |
Oh, and Micky the wine there has its own sweet and unique flavour - well worth a visit to the mountian vinyards to free sample the wares !!

And don't forget the lyrics what I wrote. Ideal for a delivery chaps carry cokee.
Aser is spot on, helicopter sight seeing, worth the Ģ$. Cyclic Micky was up in the sky. Off The Canaries and we know why. Not chekin, the sumptuous totty: Man admiring the vistas of Lanzarote |
Aser ...the restaurant is called the Lagomar, it is between Tahiche and Teguise at a small place called Nazaret.
Have booked for wednesday lunch "an extraoardinary setting carved into cliffs and connected to the ground by a tunnel and steps, with gardens a lake and walkways. Imaginative meat, fish and vegetarian dishes" One has just had a gorgeous tuna and anchovy salad with tomatoes, haricot beans and eggs...superb!! CM |
I know the place it's wonderful , I've been there only at night for a drink ;) it's really "cool" hehe.
Regards. Aser |

Highly recommend the Island for all the diversity you get. Amazing volcanic area in the national park and the beaches live up to expectations The resterante at the top is an engineering marval. The water (sea)is cold though. But I missed out on the heli tour in April this year as the only day they could do was departure day and the slots were too tight. But the a/c departure gave an insite into what you will see from a trip. Truly the most spectacular sights even for a hardened geologist who rarely gets excited any more by those sights. Have a fantastic time and try and Island hop if you have time, go on the cattermaran and see the dolphins, Something to tell your friends and family about for years to come TnT :ok: |
TFS The wines are as you say, ........excallent, I have come in out of the sun, fair skinned folks donīt do midday sun here!!, so a little proonin for a while...1 euro= 15 mins.
TnT Not going to fly as fully booked for all times I had available...and I have my wifes Mum and Dad with us...we brought them here for their 50th wedding anniversary:} MIL doesnīt "do" boats or aircraft...she is coming with us for a meal up in a cave though....and she loves Cava:suspect: Aser I will have one for you:ok: ...and maybe some nice local red vino as well:E :E Going for a nice cool dip now:ok: CM |
