Sakhalin Energy buy 3 AW189s
|
Sakhalin Energy is Shell, so some leverage to move on from the Mil's. 189's have a production line in Russia, Leonardo partnered with Rosneft, so a semi-domestic helicopter. Isn't Rosneft also partnered with Exxon in Sakhalin-1? Russia is closed to ex-pat pilots, but any spending news is good news.

Not quite Shell - they are a 27.5% JV partner - but they have adopted many Shell requirements and have a few staff seconded there. Yes XOM have a 189 but not sure if it’s on location yet. |
