Well, after just over 4 years of retirement, I returned to the skies and got a new entry in my logbook:

I shot some photos a few years ago of John Eacott doing the exact same thing at Duxford. Cant remember if it was in the Grace spitfire or another two seater there.

And excellent pictures they are, Ned :ok: It was a TR9 unlike Grace's which is a modified single seater: the advantage is the rear cockpit is stepped up and gives a better view. But the lovely Merlin growl still sounds like a Fergie tractor inside :p
