Angus seems to really be one of the good guys. Puts the politicians he has dealt with to shame.

And to think Australia only got him (luckily) because the ejection seat in the RAF Jet Provost trainer was in the full up position. If it was full down he would have been selected for the RAF. Talk about a pivotal moment in ones life, for him that must have been it.

But if he had ejected at some stage, he would have likely smashed both legs at the knee on the canopy bow. There were a few tall Aussies who were lucky never to have to use the Martin Baker Departure Lounge.
