Look on the French side as well?
If you look at southern French media - such as Midi Libre - you will see reports of helicopters being caught in the act in the Corbieres and other areas in the hinterland of the Med coast. What with the "go-fasts" (boats on the Med and Atlantic, convoys of high-powered cars on the A9/A63), lorries, helicopters, etc, the customs people have their hands full.

Add this to the list. It was this weekend, the accident was at midnight, no flight plan, nobody knew anything about this flight. It was a Robinson but there isn't more information about it.

These types of illicit flights also seem to be a growing concern for the UK: NCA unveils campaign to disrupt the use of airfields and light aircraft by organised criminals
(And, given the reference to 'small landing strips,' possibly also a problem for the fuzz in Brazil...? :E) I/C |
