Wessex Flying?
Evening all,
Just seen elsewhere on the web that a Wessex may have been flying today :ok: I think it is believed to be either 9G-BOB or 9G-AEE, both long term residents at Biggin Hill. 9G-BOB is still in its yellow SAR colours with African Gateway titles and I believe 9G-AEE is painted red. From a quick look on the web, it appears both belong/belonged to a company called Sky Helicopters but information on them is thin on the ground. Can any one shed any more light on them or their future? |
The second one is 9G-AEL & is probably flown at Biggin Hill by Danny Brem-Wilson who I think owns 2 Wessex 5s.

Shouldn't this be merged with the UK SAR privatisation thread? :}
