Wessex Flying?

Evening all,

Just seen elsewhere on the web that a Wessex may have been flying today

I think it is believed to be either 9G-BOB or 9G-AEE, both long term residents at Biggin Hill. 9G-BOB is still in its yellow SAR colours with African Gateway titles and I believe 9G-AEE is painted red.

From a quick look on the web, it appears both belong/belonged to a company called Sky Helicopters but information on them is thin on the ground.

Can any one shed any more light on them or their future?

The second one is 9G-AEL & is probably flown at Biggin Hill by Danny Brem-Wilson who I think owns 2 Wessex 5s.

Oh dear what have I started ?, Brian, computer freeze's & quick engine changes my speciality, overspeed trips & IGV's were B***y R****s thing, I opted for the easy life as you may well remember, prefered to be in the air with yourself rather than getting my hands too dirty ! rgds, PH.

and just by chance here is one I took earlier (a lot earlier!) PH.

and remembering we had different noses for all weathers as well!.

and remember we copied Fleetlands air box design for ground running to make adjustments easier!

we even had funny coloured ones as well on SAR!
