VF,
Why are they called fishtail air? Fantastic pics by the way, but dreadful paintwork on the a/c :{ Happy landings GTF |
Grifo,
If you Google-image search Machapuchare, you'll see why the name Fishtail means something to people flying around Annapurna. |
VF,
Hi and Good evening from mist shrouded Lancashire, the picture you posted with the Sq on the Snow looks just like any other picture...that is until I saw the men sitting and standing way off in the background, what a huge backing that brown hill makes then to be broken by that jagged lump of rock clawing it way up into the sky, the area you work is certainly a lot nearer to God than any of us mortals way down here in Lancashire, Rarefied air and a casual landing and photoshoot, I dont think I would ever stop talking about that one trip and yet you post time after time with some totally stunning shots....I really do envy your daily views and LZs. Stay safe.. my regards Peter R-B Lancashire |

WoW now that's an awesome suspension bridge, :eek: 'Kusma' near Pokhara, Nepal
http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...9/P1060730.jpg |
It must be Instant Vertigo crossing that bridge plus there will be some 120 kg joker who will swing it when you are halfway across.
A question. There are mown patches about 100 metres from the ends of the bridge. Is that where they have put stay cables to stop it whipping in the wind. |
What a bridge!
:sad::sad:
What a bridge guys! I'm not shure I'll have no vertigo walking on it...:sad: Cheers, PE :ok: |
