Yes please DB.

First visit to Malta in the early seventies aboard a Victor Mk 1 tanker; another of the crew had never been before and so the Captain requested and received the OK to fly around the Island at low level. The comment from the other first visitor - 'Cor ! It's like a brickies back yard' made us all laugh. Lovely place.

I do like the look of Nepal and it's people, maybe one day. Back on thread.

VF,

Happy Easter from sunny (rare !) Sydney.

As I have said before, keep all your amazing pics and write a book one day...I have no doubt it would be a best seller.

Cheers,
Arrrj

Thank the imaginary deity of your choice for VF's pics.

So much bad news lately. Political craziness worldwide. His pics always bring me back to the grand beauty of this world.

#4229 a terrific shot. It's so good to have you back, VF.

Non-PC Plod 18th Apr 2017 09:14

VF,
You probably explained this before in post #1, but you seem to have about 100 cameras all pointing in different directions on the front of the cab. How do you control them? Do you see what you are going to take on a screen in the cockpit somehow, or do you press and hope for the best? Do all the cameras shoot together, or do you select the one or multiple ones you want to use?

Your thread is still a haven on the forum, as a bitching-free zone!

Thanks!

Is on #4234 Everest South col? If yes then you fly way over 8.000m mark!

albatross 18th Apr 2017 14:35

Quick question.
Flying as a pax on airliners I have often noticed that the OAT at cruise alt is very warm flying near the Himilayas.
What do you find? Are temps at alt warmer than the standard atmosphere?
Great photos.

So true. For sure one of the best threads on PPR. Some people know how to get high, but this guy knows how to get REALLY high. ;)
