Copy that no Bearded Clam, but I've got the Camel Toe
|
@ Vertical Freedom - well, doing the tests twice (1st military - 2nd civil) may help to remember more items ;-)
Or a look at the Power Check Diagrams - where you can clearly see, that the differences between sea level and 12.000 feet - at the same OAT - brings a difference from about 100 ° C in TOT.... |
Haaar yes Flying Bull............45% torque @ 25,000' note the oil pressure :ooh: fuel burn - bugger all :uhoh:

Flying Bull, are you seriously trying to teach VF about the issues of flying at Altitude!
Look at his altimeter in some of the images he posts. |
But the "altitude" must be getting to him because he has previously posted #4073 :)
|
Cosy spot?.............feral street Dog
Hey DOUBLE BOGEY....I can always learn something new ;)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- G'day SRFred......'twas a re-post yes indeedly for exemplifying a point :ooh: http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...E5DF13C4A6.jpg |

Look at his altimeter in some of the images he posts. Interesting, what other read out of a short comment so.... VR quoted, that he might have sleept a minute in groundschool - regading to my earlier post. And that was about simple physics temperature / pressure correlations. Whats that info good for? Try to boil an egg at sea level for five minutes - and at 20.000 feet - and enjoy the differences :E |
Boiled eegs
Who would ever boil an egg when at altitude. You bring't from ground level. Nepal: 7000 feet and counting!

Doggie
That poor bastard was save from sure death, since itta fell into a deep well. Guess he was checking if the earth is round:

Hi Flying Bull when my kids were small they loved Soft Boiled Egss and Toast Soldiers for breakfast. Now cooking a boiled egg to perfection is a life skill that takes effort and work.
I used to ,and still do, tell them that the factors that must be assessed are the temperature of the egg, the OAT and the QFE to determine the exact boiling time. I would not like to test my theories on an egg at VFs altitudes! |

To be sure it must have been cold in that picture ;) |

The highest I've ever been was 11,000' and that was by myself in a 212...it was so terrifying I didn't think to get a photo of the altimeter for posterity. |
Well....welll....well
Morning fhegner......the Muttly is just a cute feral street Dog I woke up for a scratch & cuddle just after this photo was taken (yes iPhone) :uhoh:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ G'day Flying Bull......never to late, never to soon; to learn sumting new :8 Yes I was indeed power napping in them thar classes, or looking at the assets in the room :O ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hello DOUBLE BOGEY.....happy to try on a cuppa, but as a Vegan - no Eggs for me :ok: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hi 500e.......surely it might be the freak-out factor causing the erection of hair follicles  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Good day to You gulliBell.....my start button is hidden deeply in a freshly brewed cuppa coffee each morning :eek:http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...025A31766F.jpg |
