Training and working in NZ or OZ as foreigner

Hello everybody!

I'm new in this forum. I hope my english is good enough to understand me.
I'm 24 years and want to become a helicopter pilot. I live in Germany, but I want to do the training in New Zealand or Australia, becausé it seems to be cheaper.

What do you think: How much money will I need (round about)? I'm able to use the work and holiday visa. This allows me to work there for one year.

Are there any oppotunities to work there as pilot as foreigner? I know at the moment it is very difficult, but it would be very nice if somebody who is in the business could give me some advise.

At the moment I think the dream could come true, but probably I don't really see the risk or in detail I try to eliminate my doubts.

I'm sorry but I can't discribe it better in english.

I hope somebody can help me a little bit.:) I think about this theme since many month.

Thank you!

Cheers:}

Welcome to Rotorheads :ok:

At the top of the forum page is a sticky, So you want to be a helicopter pilot, with links to threads with discussions about NZ and Australia: well worth reading.
