Exec are operating the Docks and will also look after Morans on Friday. There will be no charge to land in Morans but you will need to notify Executive of your arrival. This has been set up by the Management of Morans on the Weir as a safety measure. It was nuts last year with nearly 20 aircraft in one small field.

Amazing that this got merged with a thread 2 yrs ago but just reading through the whole thing it shows how times have really changed.....I was talking to a bookmaker friend of mine yesterday and he said that he only saw 1 maybe 2 different helicopters coming in and out.....amazing change. Thanks for all your help anyway i'm going to go early and land at the airport!

galway races

just joined and seen your post.
i went on thurs and fri to galway - flew with air arran from manchester for £30 each -got taxi to races as they wanted a fortune for helitaxi to racecourse. It was very quiet this year (apparantly - first time i've been) Everyone said heli transport was down there to about 10% of last year.Even jockeys weren't flying in.
If your going next year let me know- we can share the crac and the cost!
