This is a great thread, some brillient vids already, keeps me motivated to get through this last 2 ATPL exams here in Rip-off Uk.

Here'a 205 creating ice fog at -40C when he pulls pitch.
From a Mr. Helidriver2 from verticalmag Super 205, Super Vortex!!! I was Lifting 8 drums of diesel at -40C. Needless to say the ground crew weren't happy as the windchill was around -62C. (We had 300 drums to move 15 miles) I lost sight of the drums soon after they were airborne but could still see out the top 3rd of the windshield. I just pointed it towards the sun to see |

Real strange this life wire repairs! Altough i know such procedures are not so seldom, i couldn't acclimate myself on such views.
Trying not to think on possible problems. :\ One positive factor on such jobs: Needless to meet concerns about mobile phone radiation! :} But maybe after the mission the smart card or the memory of my phone is deleted? Must be the hell of a electric flow field. Carcinogenic??? The sparks during connecting are absolute horrible. Must be interesting to measure the generator peak. Hats down to the crew!
