Has anyone read this book? Saw an advert in this month Helicopter Life - looks like a good read?

Read it

Good book, interesting read about the places they visit but not overly technical on the R44 and helicopter flying.

I brought and read the book, Fantastic read, well worth buying, wish I had the nerve to do such a trip.

Hi Tango Victor

Yes, you're right, G-BXUK came back in a crate by sea, having been packed by Heliflite in Sydney, to HeliAir at Wellesbourne.

Next time, I think I'd take a bit of time to chill in Australia, then fly back up to Singapore, then up to Japan, then back through Russia.

That's another seven weeks at least, I'd guess. Anyone fancy it?

Best wishes

Tim

Great read guys, got the book a couple of days ago and am nearly finished it. Doesn't go hugely into helicopter specific stuff but is a great account of an amazing sounding adventure!
