Yes, you're right, G-BXUK came back in a crate by sea, having been packed by Heliflite in Sydney, to HeliAir at Wellesbourne.
Next time, I think I'd take a bit of time to chill in Australia, then fly back up to Singapore, then up to Japan, then back through Russia.
That's another seven weeks at least, I'd guess. Anyone fancy it?

Great read guys, got the book a couple of days ago and am nearly finished it. Doesn't go hugely into helicopter specific stuff but is a great account of an amazing sounding adventure!
