who's who list

Trivia time, just to pass the time I counted 156 drivers who responded since 15/08/03 with around 830K hours total. I added a bias of 1000 hours for 75% of them seeing as it looks roughly that was when they answered at say 500 per year and 500 for 25%. Then there were 10 in that period who didn't provide hours but were up to 38 yrs experience down to 2.5 so I added 10k each for them.

all comes to 1,067K or about 6400av. maybe i could count the av years experience total, 500 might be a tad generous.

The frightening bit is the difference in charge out price per hour of the machinery these dudes were flying when they started compared to the machines they now fly. say ten to fifteen times as much?

As heliport says somewhere, "tip of the iceberg".

As ballast flying a 47 back from overhaul. It was night the gusts were throwing us around the sky, the instrument lights and radio failed. Pilot was excellent. Although I had to fly the thing for 90 seconds with a torch in my gob while he called the tower on his mobile phone. Seemed like ages.
Also, the first time Darren999 got out of the machine and moved the weight forward for one pilot operation. (His door flew open on my first circuit. I know he did it on purpose).
