My company is sending me to PBI, Flt Safety for some S76 sim trg next week and I am looking for some destinations for:
a. spending my expense money drinking;
b. spending my expense money eating;
c. spending my expense money "entertaining";
d. anything else.

All tips are appreciated...

Oh.......The joys of West Palm.
They tell me that T's Bar is a nice place to start in the evening [providing you have an afternoon session in the Sim]..then when they kick you out at 0600hrs..Southside Six may still be open.
Lunches are supplied at FSI....but the Bomber Sqn Bar next door to FSI is a nice interesting bar to quench that thirst...........Sikorsky folk normally put on a spread once each course.........lunchtime that is.
Grab a hire car and head south to Miami.I will try to think of the place with an outside eatery / bar on one of the waterways near a bridge.......thats worth it as well.
And of course there is the family restruant chain.......Hooters"

If you can take an extra day , the Kennedy Space Center is worth a visit. Its about a 3 hour drive North on I-9?(something). It was an awesome and humbling experience for this helicopter pilot.
You could also take in a Florida Panthers game at the Staples Center in Ft. Lauderdale, its about 1:20 South on the same I-9?. That should use up any spare cash.
There are tons of restaurants around the place. As the Auditor says, the 398(I think) Bomber group restaurant is a neat place to have lunch.

Go downtown West Palm (15 mins from PBI) to City Place (on Okeechobee Blvd) - great restaurants (City Cellars, Marks, Legal Seafoods) and a comedy club. 20 screen Muvico theater and loads of free parking. And a stack of shops. From here take the free tram that takes you to the nightclub/bar area on Clematis. Try "Chill" at junction with Datura.
Over on Royal Palm Beach - the island - hang out at Worth Avenue bars. Taboo is the most likely "haunt". Meet trillionaires who need corporate pilots....
Want a nice quiet airfield - try SUA (Stuart Witham Field) about 30 miles north up the coast. Fly low over the ocean and spot the dolphins, rays & sharks. Go to old downtown Stuart and dine at the Osceola St Cafe or Dockside or Gusto. Stuart Boat Show on this weekend (12th). See www.gopbi.com

If you're interested in a good museum, save up your per diem and take a day off to visit the Navy air museum in Pensacola -it's a bit of a drive but the displays will blow your mind. Best aviation museum besides the Smithsonian.

If you want to treat your eyes and blow a little money away but enjoy seeing it go, try Rachel's a little way north, on the west side of the I95 at 2905 45th Street. Quite expensive, but you won't know where to look.
