North Sea crystal ball

An instuctor and commercial wanabie.... the situation for many no doubt.

Just wondering if those on the inside track can enlight us on the outside what the latest is on North sea RE: recruitment, workload, pay and entry requirements. (TT 800hrs approx at present) and anything else of revelance.

Last I heard was that self sponsored CPL's where struggling to get a look in unless they had stupped up the extra cash to do IR before consideration....but that could just be a rumour (of course)!

Are there any plans for sponsored IR courses for 2003 @ CHC or Bristows? ......Or is the situation to remain stable for the next 12 - 18 months recruitment wise?

Info / opinions gratefully received!
