Very enlightening, as it always is when the report comes out. I'd like to chat with the chief pilot who earns $500,000 in the median percentile range

It seems to send a message that the industry, worldwide, is quite happy with its lot....is this a true reflection of what is really going on I wonder. Or did the disatisfied's not bother to respond, therefore not fully representing a cross section of the industry. Perhaps the employers of these disatisfied people didn't allow commercial magazines into the office and they aren't aware of the poll!!
In the Uk there has been for the last couple of years atleast, a shortage of qualified mechanics, especially avionics, in the helo world. These people are now commanding substantial salaries. Good luck to them. When is it the pilot's turn
