Thumbs down Turbomeca Arriel Igniters

Are there any Turbomeca Arriel operators out there who are having trouble with their Equem Ignitors?
There have been five (5) cases locally here in SE Queensland where the electrode of the igniter has parted company and passed through the engine causing at the very least US$100K damage!!!
One operator has had it happen twice! First time with his engine then shortly after with the Turbomeca loaner!!
Turbomeca warrant the part for two (2) years/1000 hour which ever comes first - so make sure you have igniters with less time than this.
Would really appreciate hearing from anybody who has had problems.

A UK company just had an in-flight engine failure the for same reason, on a B2 with just over 100 hours.

Turbomeca had raised a service letter (2171/02/Arriel1/66) for a 300 hour inspection, back in February this year.

Perhaps an alert S.B. might be in order??????
