nothing about a/c type? instant thought at this time of year is R22 carb ice.... But let's wait for the details.

R44 was the type, en route from Aberystwyth to Wellesbourne. Aircraft converted into a collection of unserviceable spare parts by gravity. Having observed the scene at first hand, just how the pilot managed to walk away from that one, (and by all accounts, that's exactly what he did) with the injuries he had is quite amazing.

A speedy recovery to you sir and, (with luck like that), I don't suppose you know next weeks winning lottery numbers do you?
