Excellent stuff, KiwiNedNZ! All of those helicopters gathering in my hometown of Hotlanner. I can see the headquarters of the "Co-Cola" Company in the background. It appears that the LZ is close to or on the campus of Georgia Tech, of which my father was an alumnus. I hope you have found comfortable accommodations and that you have been able to try out your inimitable accent on some of our Georgia Peaches/Southern Belles!


Check out the tail rotor on that, y'all!

I was curious as the landing area was different to that seen in video from previous events. Venue this year is Georgia World Congress Center and landing area is a larger parking lot north of the Center. The 'helipad' can be seen on Google Maps.

Previous venue was Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas where landing area was just alongside to the building.

LZ here is the same place it was when we were here last time. Its a marshalling area of the Convention centre.
