LD Switzerland Helmets

Anyone have experience with them? I know Boston Medflight and Lifeflight of Maine are switching over to them.

I have been using one for about a year and a half and love it. Also about 10 people I have let use it while on photo shoots have also ended up getting them.

How is the supply with spare parts if anything breaks? Have a friend in Switzerland and he said that parts take very long to ship. That was his only problem with it though.

Was keen to pull the trigger on one but the 7 month wait was too much.

Our plan if we go with them would be to order a bunch spare parts with the initial order, mics, speakers, wiring, visors etc. I was told the same, 7 month lead time, but they really are nice helmets, currently have a loaner.

They are the best I have used and I have tried a lot over the years. As mentioned above nearly everyone I have let use mine while on shoots with them have gone ahead and ordered their own.
