Jon left quite an impression when he did his training at Bond - he's clearly still making a difference in his current employment. Very good effort.

Oh my Best Beloved. Once - when the world was younger than today - I flew an enthusiastic police firearms unit to a village where a very large bull had escaped from a truck and was running amok through the Saturday market. No one had yet been gored, but it was only a matter of time. I landed in a field at the edge of the village and the gallant armed unit trotted off to find the bull. I shut down the Bo105 and heard a number of shots in the distance. Then some more. Then some shouting. The very large, very angry bull appeared in the field and saw the Bolkow - and me. I broke all records that day, including clearing a dry stone wall by a considerable margin.

Is it just me, or is that DM article just appalling, incoherent, ungrammatical drivel? Delivered in staccato single-sentence paragraphs, no start-middle-end, repetitive quotations, and yet no explanation (or perceived need to tell) why the shotgun's certified keeper (presumably competent in its handling) had to hand the weapon to a person he had presumably only just met? Four rounds? Pump action or just a handful of cartridges along with the gun ("Here ya go, Pal, that should do it").
Has journalism completely failed to survive online? I don't subscribe, but do all DM articles read like this?

These days, it's all about 'clicks'
The DM's first priority is lots of pictures, the text in between is merely to separate those pictures, gibberish is acceptable
because they don't have any standards.
