Quickstops?? A war story, was leading a five aircraft insertion into a rice paddy, lots of space to manoeuvre, in the flare found the cyclic was on the rear stop and couldn't deaccelerate below about fifteen knots, quick pedal turn, aircraft nosed down, at zero speed threw it onto the ground. Ingress was notable for another reason, good friend in another aircraft finally, finally lost his cherry. Some people do lead a charmed life.
