Cool A-Star ferry from Panama to Guyana - anyone?

Hi all,

looking for some real life experience!

Did anyone do that ferry or a similar one? in a intermediate single?

I know - Colombia - Venezuela - aux-tank - no sweat!

NOW, WHAT IF - you want to avoid Venezuela! (Because of this and that and rumours - after all Venezuela claims some 65% of Guyana as of last year - so naturally one would expect a bit of a hassle when in transit to Guyana)
Anyone ever flew around south? Colombia, Brazil, Guyana - or all the way to the coast - French Guyana, Suriname, Guyana?

As it is - I would plan with 110kts cruise and 2.5 hrs between fuel stops without aux-fuel.

I am looking at Turtle-Pac Drums (3x33, 66, 100) for aux-tanks....

Any thought, advice, idea welcome!

(Personally I would stick with a container and ocean transport, but the company wants to know about alternatives!)

Cheers,
