Student and instructor in R-22, initial hover training, drifts close to building then sudden input causes collision with DME aerial.

EC120 dynamic rollover on lip of 40cm raised pad.

Can't think why you would try and teach a student to hover anywhere near any obstacles, let alone an NDB array. I was lucky to stay in Shropshire the first time I tried to hover!

The EC120 crash shows there are few new ways of crashing a helicopter, just the tried and tested ones revisited.

I heard it was a bit more than "hovering", hence the collision.
