500 series for fun, 2 plus fishing rod/rifles and gear, and to get to the tight spots.
Practical for family and longer trips hard to beat AS350 B2, or B3 if you have the budget.
If you can lose the baggage capacity then 407 is the pic for handling, speed (just my opinion with roughly equal time in 350/407's...)
If commercial work was not a consideration, then a 407 would be my pick.
